Fauna in Gorumara National Park

Gorumara National Park is located in the Indian state of West Bengal and is known for its rich biodiversity. The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including:

One-horned Rhinoceros: Gorumara National Park is home to a significant population of the one-horned rhinoceros. The park has been successful in the conservation of this endangered species.

• Asian Elephant: The park has a significant population of Asian elephants, and they can be spotted roaming freely in the forest.
• Indian Bison: The Indian bison, also known as Gaur, can be found in the park. They are the largest bovine species in the world and are known for their powerful built.
• Royal Bengal Tiger: Though the population of tigers in the park is not very high, it is one of the few places where you can spot the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger in the wild.
